So we are officially falling into place as Truth Radio Podcast in terms of a “Ministry” and something I’ve been noticing is, the enemy of my soul throwing all kinds of what if’s and yeah but’s. Its almost as though when the Holy Spirit begins to speak to me about what to speak on or record on, immediately I get overwhelmed of every little thing that could go wrong. “What if we offend someone” “Yeah but, I’m not qualified to be doing this…..”Don’t you find that whenever you begin to operate in the gifts or talents that God has blessed you with, war begins to wage in the heart and mind of the warrior (you)? I cannot stress this enough, we as Victors, we as Warriors for Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God should NOT be surprised by this.1 Peter 4:12, “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.”Isn’t that oddly, reassuring? That okay, I should be expecting this to happen. So how do we “prepare” for these trials? It seems overly complicated when in all reality its truly simple, for myself I go back to Ephesians 6:10-1810 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.Brothers and Sisters arm yourselves spiritually, with JESUS CHRIST! It is because of Him we are Victors. It is because of Him that we have FREEDOM! Trust me, not everyday will be easy, someday’s you will put on all that you can and still get hurt. Its reality. So surround yourself with a godly community, get connected in your church, be in fellowship with other followers of Christ.Don’t allow the “What ifs”, and the “Yeah buts” to push you around and dictate what you do for the Kingdom of God, when the devil reminds of your past remind him of his future.
